The Virginia Grown Forest Products program promotes Virginia’s forest products and industry, and helps consumers know more about the products they purchase and use. Landowners, businesses and consumers utilizing the program will have access to educational and marketing activities and materials about the benefits of using Virginia forest products.The program is jointly administered by Virginia Department of Forestry and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The program was launched May 18, 2012 at the 33rd East Coast Sawmill and Logging Equipment Exposition in Richmond.
