Grants and Financial Aid Programs

The Virginia Department of Forestry (VDOF) offers Cost Share Programs for landowners. VDOF also offers incentives to promote land conservation, wildlife habitats and insect management.

• Cost Share Programs - programs offered by state and federal agencies, which help reduce your cost to implement a forest management and conservation activities
• Land Conservation Finanical Assistance Programs - programs offered by state and federal agencies, which help reduce your cost to implement land conservation activities
• Grant Programs - grant programs, which provide funds for specific forest management, fire prevention, urban and community forestry and other forest resource projects
