The 2025 Forest Management Academy will be held at Sweet Briar College, Amherst County, Virginia.  The Forest Management Academy will be held September 15-19, 2025.

Registration will start in July and be open until August 18, 2025.

• A registration link will be provided in July.
• Each participant will need to complete the on-line registration themselves.

The sessions are designed for audiences as follows:

• Monday and Tuesday: Experienced Field Employees
• Wednesday: Joint audience for all DOF employees covering a variety of topics, newer and experienced
• Thursday and Friday: Newer Field Employees, both with and without previous Forestry background/training.
