CSI
Cumulative Severity Index (CSI) is a drought index measure ranging from 0 (complete ground saturation) to 800 (desert-like conditions). This drought index is one estimate of the overall potential for a wildfire, and is used to guide the DOF’s responder readiness level for wildfires.
