In 2004, The Code of Virginia authorized the creation of special license plates to be issued to supporters of Virginia agriculture.
Virginians can support conservation efforts by purchasing this specialized plate – $15 of each $25 annual fee is credited to a special fund known as the Virginia Agricultural Vitality Program Fund. These funds are paid annually to the Office of Working Lands Preservation to support state and local efforts to conserve working farms and forests.
