The Virginia Department of Forestry will be sponsoring a minor league baseball game in Salem between the Salem Red Sox and Lynchburg Hillcats on August 6th @7:05 p.m. There will be a DOF table with information about the emerald ash borer and how it may be affecting your ash trees in addition to a variety of other DOF material. There will be plenty of souvenirs for fans and Smokey will be making a special appearance in early celebration of Smokey’s 77th birthday.
