Workplace Safety – Chainsaw Operations
March 1, 2021 - Comply with CFR 1910.266 as it pertains to the use of chainsaws and to the NWCG standards for training of wildland fire chainsaw operators. Pursuant to these, chainsaw operation is prohibited unless an operator has successfully completed training and certification as outlined in this policy and procedure, except in emergency situations where life is threatened.
